One-to-One Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a motivated Catering Support Staff member to help ensure the smooth running of our school catering services. If you enjoy working as part of a friendly team and take pride in delivering high-quality meals, this could be the perfect role for you!

As our Kitchen Assistant, you will play a vital role in serving nutritious and delicious meals for our pupils and staff every day. We are looking for someone with a positive attitude, excellent hygiene standards, and the willingness to go the extra mile to support our catering team.

About the Role

Contract: Permanent, Part Time, Term Time

Hours: Part Time, 12.5 Hours per week, Monday to Friday

Salary: Competitive

Start Date: Sep 2026

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Assist with the serving of meals for students and staff
• Maintain high standards of food hygiene and safety at all times
• Support the catering team in keeping the kitchen and dining areas clean, tidy, and safe
• Assist with washing up, cleaning, and general kitchen duties
• Help with stock rotation and basic food storage
• Work as part of a team to deliver excellent service during lunch, and school events

We are looking for someone who:

• Has experience in catering or food service (desirable, but not essential)
• Maintains high standards of hygiene and food safety
• Works well as part of a team and takes initiative
• Is reliable, flexible, and has a positive attitude
• Can engage with children and staff in a friendly and professional manner
• Understands the importance of confidentiality and safeguarding in a school environment
