Food and Nutrition Teacher

We are looking for an exceptional Food and Nutrition Teacher to join our school. Could that be you?

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food science and nutrition, with a commitment to delivering engaging and informative lessons. This position offers the opportunity to inspire young minds, foster a love for healthy eating and equip students with essential life skills.

About the Role and You

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Planning, delivering, and assessing engaging Food and Nutrition lessons for Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students.
• Foster a learning environment where every pupil feels valued and nurtured.
• Bringing learning to life with hands-on projects and interactive activities.
• Empower students to think creatively.

We are looking for someone who:

• Holds a bachelor’s degree in food science or a related field (desirable)
• Has QTS (essential).
• Has at least 1 year’s experience teaching.
• Has experience designing and implementing inspirational and engaging schemes of work.
• Is flexible, adaptable and enthusiastic.
• Has a passion for inspiring creativity.
