Computer Science Teacher

We are looking for an exceptional Computer Science Teacher to join our school. Could that be you?

As our Computer Science Teacher, you will be at the forefront of a revolution in tech. education. Your mission? To captivate minds, spark imaginations and cultivate a love for all things code. From Python to JavaScript, you will guide students through the exciting world of programming, algorithms and beyond.

About the Role and You

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Planning, delivering and assessing engaging Computer Science lessons for Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students.
  • Craft dynamic lesson plans that turn abstract concepts into real-world applications.
  • Foster a learning environment where every student feels valued and nurtured.
  • Bringing learning to life with hands-on projects, coding challenges and interactive activities.
  • Empower students to think critically, problem solve effectively and creatively and embrace the endless possibilities of technology.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Holds a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science.
  • Has QTS (essential).
  • Has at least 1 year’s experience teaching.
  • Has experience designing and implementing inspirational and engaging schemes of work.
  • Is flexible, adaptable and enthusiastic.
  • Has a deep understanding of Computer Science.
