Music Teacher

Calling all Music Teachers! We are looking for a dynamic and talented individual to join our team of exceptional teachers. Could that be you?

You will have the opportunity to ignite a love for music in our students and help them to unlock their full potential.

About the Role and You

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Planning, delivering and assessing engaging music lessons for Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4) students.
  • Inspire creativity, musical expression and technical skills in our students.
  • Teach music theory, performance and appreciation.
  • Lead extracurricular music activities.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall music curriculum.
  • Promote good progress and outcomes by pupils.
  • Adapt teaching to respond to the strengths and needs of every pupil.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Holds a bachelor’s degree in music.
  • Has QTS (essential).
  • Has at least 1 year’s teaching experience.
  • Has experience designing and implementing inspirational and engaging schemes of work.
  • Is flexible, adaptable and enthusiastic.
  • Has a strong commitment to continued personal development.
