We were in the bus for around 1.1 hours. Then we arrived and we saw a lot of rocks and climbed most of them. We did the rock dance. It was fun. We were on top of the valley for a while, then we went down the valley. We climbed down the rocks, then we walked for a while. We came across cows and I thought that I could pet them but Mrs Beldon was worried so we went the other way.
We had to barge our way through the head high bracken. I found it very fun and adventurous. I’m not too sure the others were too keen on the bracken. A few long hours went by, and then we stopped to eat in a wood. Then we set off again. We walked an extra mile due to an unclear route. After a while we were all so tired that Sir ran and grabbed the bus. Surprisingly, we made a new friend. We called her Jemima and she enjoyed Anya’s sweetcorn. (She was a ewe.)
We stopped off at an ice cream parlour, where I had a double scoop of salted caramel and butterscotch ripple with a flake and a toffee. It was amazing. My favourite location was the rock face called Stanage Edge.
